mo(nu)ment

Monument as weight, rawness, primal character and permanence. Moment as a pleasant pause created by the space itself, despite its monumental character. The space was saturated with colour, obscuring its essential architectural elements and blurring the materiality of the interior. The renovation therefore followed the existing architecture, allowing it to take the lead. Its inherent character became the starting point for shaping the interior.

Once a shop. Then a warehouse. Today, a studio. A space that has changed its purpose over the years now creates new spaces for living. Architecture, interiors and light take shape here. gnezdo (nest)

The upper floor of the house was waiting for new life. For a little person who would bring a new energy and slowly transform it into a home. Designing a space for a young family is both a privilege and a responsibility. Creating a refuge for everyday life, a place for first moments, future memories, and the feeling of truly belonging somewhere. Gnezdo (The nest) was born from this very idea – a warm, calm space that grows together with the family.

bonjour

Every home has its own way of welcoming us. Some impress us at first sight. Others greet us first. Bonjour was born from this very idea. When we first stepped into the apartment, we were not thinking about where to place the kitchen or which colour to choose for the walls. Something else caught our attention. The double-height space. The light flowing freely between the two levels. The views opening upwards. A sense of openness that did not need to be created – it simply needed to be preserved and given the right role.

zoboestetika

Some spaces are created all at once. Others grow together with the people who use them. Zoboestetika is one of those stories. What began as a small dental practice gradually evolved over almost a decade into a comprehensive dental clinic. Each new phase responded to the actual needs of its users, adding something new to the space – treatment rooms, waiting areas, a reception, diagnostic facilities and, finally, a lounge, offices and staff areas.

The house was named after its distinctive appearance. Built in 2009, it then waited for almost a decade to be given its own interior story. In 2018, we began its renovation, with the intention of allowing the contemporary interior to enhance rather than erase the character of the existing building.
