The double-height space became the starting point for the entire design. We conceived the central living area as the connecting heart of the apartment, around which the individual spaces unfold. A dark veneered furniture volume rises through the space, incorporating the staircase, a television concealed behind a sliding panel, and a fireplace. Opposite it stands a white cubic volume, concealing the guest bathroom within and continuing into the kitchen.

The dining area is defined by a round table and a pendant light suspended from the gallery above. In the living area, an almost-white teddy sofa and a wall treatment with vertical, organically shaped grooves soften the space. The living area extends onto the loggia and towards the gallery – a kind of interior balcony that can become a library, a workspace or a quiet retreat.

The apartment is divided into two more intimate zones. The parents’ suite on the lower level is designed in darker tones, with an elegant, almost hotel-like character. The children’s area on the upper level is its counterpart – playful, simple and clean. A long white wardrobe conceals two doors leading to the children’s rooms, connected by a shared bathroom.

The material and colour concept is based on contrasts that preserve a sense of lightness. Dark surfaces meet lighter ones, expressive textures are balanced by soft, organic elements, while carefully considered lighting brings the entire composition together.

A combination of general and ambient lighting creates different lighting scenarios that can change according to the time of day, the season and, above all, the mood and needs of the inhabitants.

The apartment therefore does not welcome you with a single striking gesture, but with a feeling. Elegant, gentle and without unnecessary pretension. Bonjour.
